° I've always wanted to learn to scuba dive. How do I get started? Well, you have come to the right place! We run several different scuba diving courses, the first of which is the Discover Scuba Diving Experience (DSD). The DSD is the first insight you will have into the world of scuba diving. Closely monitored by one of our certified instructors in the sea, you will be able to have your first go at breathing underwater and gliding alongside all the different marine life.
° How old do I have to be to get scuba certified or try scuba diving? The minimum age for learning to scuba dive is 10 years old. We have had many children come along with their parents on our trips who have shown an interest in trying scuba diving. Why don't you come along and give it a go?
°Is scuba diving dangerous? Scuba diving is an adventure sport. Some people throw themselves from aeroplanes, some climb high peaks, scuba diving is not without its risks. However, we have an exemplary safety track record and new comers to diving are very closely monitored by our diving instructors and dive masters. All our equipment is regularly checked by our technician. So basically there's nothing to worry about!
° Can a non diver go on your trips? Absolutely! Every trip we have guests who prefer to snorkel or just swim and relax. That's the beauty of what we do - our trips are very versatile and we try to accomodate everybody's wishes for a great day out.
° Do I have to buy scuba gear? You do not have to buy scuba gear in order to dive with us. We provide you with a numbered bag at the beginning of the trip. Inside the bag is all the equipment you will need. When we take your booking we make note of your fin size, wetsuit size and BCD size and make sure you have a mask and snorkel that will fit too. We do carry spares on board, but we rarely need to use them. If after your day out with us you decide you would like to buy some diving equipment we can recommend some excellent scuba diving equipment stores.
° How expensive is scuba diving with you?
